Brief Project Description:

Professor de Hoop has initiated an interdisciplinary research program with the Geo-mathematical Imaging Group (GMIG), to develop new approaches to imaging the earth. Along with new mathematical algorithms that are being developed, there are major high performance computing needs. The Rosen Center is supporting this project.

Professor de Hoop is also interested in purchasing a compute cluster for his research, that the Rosen Center will support.
