Brief Project Description:
Environmental events occur and interact at multiple spatial and temporal scales. Monitoring, prediction, and control of adverse effects require the intelligent combination of existing data with proven and novel methods of analysis, visualization, and experimental design.

The Rosen Center is collaborating with these faculties in the C4E4 (CyberInfrastructure for End-to-End Environmental Exploration) project funded by NSF CEOP program. The goal of this project is to create a web-based environmental cyber platform that will enable the environmental research and remediation community to address the challenges of environmental data management and integration in real-world settings. C4E4 will allow researchers to combine heterogeneous data resources with state-of-the-art modeling and visualization tools to perform end-to-end scientific investigation in various environmental areas. Carol Song and Lan Zhao are members of the C4E4 project team.
