Fortress/DXUL Emergency Follow-up Maintenance Wednesday, September 10
September 11, 2008The Fortress/DXUL tape robot system will be undergoing emergency hardware maintenance from 8:00am-5:00pm on Wednesday, September 10. This maintenance is a follow-up to the work done August 25-26. During this time, it will not be possible to retrieve files from the tape archive nor will it be possible for the DXUL system to migrate files from its disk cache into the tape library. RCAC storage engineers will monitor the disk cache and disable all DXUL access if the cache fills during this maintenance window. Fortress/DXUL users are asked to please keep their use of the system to a minimum during this time.
