DXUL/fortress tape library out of service, Friday, June 5
June 07, 2009The robotic tape library used by the DXUL/fortress archival storage system is experiencing hardware problems and is unable to mount tapes. DXUL remains in operation and files in the archival storage system's disk cache can be accessed normally, but it will not be possible to retrieve files from or store new files in the archive until the library has been repaired.

Update: The tape library was repaired and the DXUL/fortress archival storage system returned to normal operation at 4:30pm Friday, June 5.
