Scheduled Maintenance - August 2012
In August 2012, some RCAC systems will be down for maintenance for up to three days in order to accommodate electrical service and chilled water upgrades in the Math building and OS and scheduler upgrades on the systems.

In addition, the plumbing and electrical work will result in reduced capacity for Coates and Rossmann, from Tue, Aug 14, 8:00am to Thu, Aug 16, 12:00 noon. During this time, the systems will be completely operational but some nodes, served by the power and water lines being worked on, will be offline which may cause some jobs to have an increased waiting time in the queue before they start. We don't expect this to have a large impact on overall throughput.
Any PBS jobs which request a walltime which would take them past the starting maintenance dates will not start and will remain in the queue until after the maintenance is completed.
