The update went smoothly, with no delays or problems, and Radon has returned to service as of 12:30 pm, 5 and a half hours earlier than expected. Please let us know at email@example.com if you see any problems with the system, or have any questions about this upgrade.
The Radon compute cluster will be unavailable from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Tuesday, 27 November, 2012. During this outage, we will be installing the latest update to its batch scheduling software. This upgrade should provide enhanced reliability and better scalability of batch jobs.
