As of approximately 3:00pm the issue affecting the scheduler on Steele has been resolved. Our engineers discovered a problem with the Torque server that was causing the errors and failures you experienced. The issue has been resolved and the server is back online.
PBS commands should be available again. Any job that was running prior to the service interruption should not be affected.

The scheduler on Steele is currently unavailable due to an issue with the server. Our engineers are working to resolve this as soon as possible. During this outage, new job submissions will not be possible and other PBS commands will be unresponsive or fail.
