Over thirty Purdue University faculty, staff, and students will be attending the SC08 conference in Austin, TX, in November, 2008. SC08, sponsored by ACM and IEEE Computer Society, will showcase how high-performance computing, networking, and storage and analysis lead to advances in research, education and commerce. This premiere conference includes technical and education programs, workshops, tutorials, an exhibit area, demonstrations, and hands-on-learning. For more information on the conference visit SC08.

Purdue's presence at SC08 includes an exhibit booth (booth #2303), participation in the bandwidth challenge, and participation in the student cluster challenge.

Presentations and demonstrations by Purdue faculty and staff will be given in the Purdue exhibit booth during the technical program. Stop by the booth to hear about the latest technology discoveries. Electronic posters will be available for viewing throughout the conference.

Five Purdue students will be competing against other undergraduate teams from around the nation in the Cluster Challenge. These students have spent several weeks preparing for the contest.
