Coates Cluster and Scratch Storage Purchasing System

Welcome to the Coates Cluster and Scratch Storage Purchasing System!

Here, you will be able to place orders for Coates nodes as well as Enterprise scratch storage attached to RCAC systems. Once you click on Place new Order, you will be prompted to log in using your career account and redirected to the order page.

Note: Information regarding purchasing nodes for use in your department can be found here.

The following is a quick overview of the order process:

• Part 1: Enter the quantity of Coates nodes and/or scratch storage to be purchased
• Part 2: Enter account numbers (up to five) and amount to charge for nodes and/or storage
• Part 3: Enter contact information, read and consent to the MOU agreement and fill out a budget justification should the account number entered in Part 2 require it. (Fund numbers beginning with the number “4” require a budget justification.)
  • Contact Information: The alias is your career account username; the system will auto-fill your name and email, but you will need to complete the address and phone number sections
  • MOU agreement: There will be a link in which you can click on to view the agreements before you check that you agree

Once you have submitted an order, you will be able to view your order(s) by clicking on "View your Orders".
