Accounts and Access

All Purdue faculty, staff, and students may request access to ITaP Research Computing resources through a self-service online research account management tool. Please see the sections below for details on requesting access to Community Clusters and general use resources such as Radon, BoilerGrid, Hathi, and Fortress.

Community Cluster Program

  • Faculty and Staff Partners

    If you are a faculty or staff member who has purchased access to cluster nodes through the Community Cluster Program or you have been designated as a research group manager on their behalf, you may manage access to your queues through our online Research Group and User Management Tool.

    If you are collaborating with another faculty or staff member who has purchased access to cluster nodes please see the section below about collaborating faculty and staff.

  • Students and Collaborating Faculty and Staff

    If you are a student, faculty or staff member collaborating with a research group who has purchased access to cluster nodes through the Community Cluster Program, you may request access to any resources available to your advisor, supervisor, or the PI on your project through our online, self-service research account management tool. Account requests are approved by the faculty and staff partners.

  • Collaborators Outside Purdue

    A valid Purdue Career Account is required for access to any resource. If you do not currently have a valid Purdue Career Account you must have a current Purdue faculty or staff member file a "Request for Privileges" with their business office before you can proceed.

General Use Resources
