The Women in HPC (WHPC) program welcomes anyone with an interest in our program to attend one of our meetings. We will hold 2-3 events per semester as well as one each summer.

RCAC Cyberinfrastructure Symposium
Join us on October 22, 2024, from 9 AM to 4 PM, in Fowler Hall for Purdue’s 3rd annual RCAC Cyberinfrastructure Symposium. This year’s event will spotlight the role of High-Performance Computing (HPC), AI, and semiconductors in scientific advancements. We're excited to highlight our keynote speaker: Michela Taufer, a renowned professor from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, who will share her insights on interdisciplinary HPC applications.
Speeding Up Your MATLAB Code
Register Here for this workshop. Are you interested in learning how to optimize your computations with MATLAB for faster performance? This course will teach you how to speed up your applications and scale them to clusters and clouds. You'll also learn best coding practices for optimized performance, including code generation.

Purdue WHPC networking event to be held Aug. 27
Purdue’s chapter of Women in High-Performance Computing (WHPC) will host a networking event on Aug. 27 from 4:30-6 p.m. in the Envision Center. This unique gathering is designed to empower, connect and inspire women in the HPC community. This event is an opportunity for professionals, academics and students to come together, share experiences and explore new collaborations in a supportive and dynamic environment.

RCAC and Purdue Women in HPC assist with inaugural InnovateHer Hackathon
The Rosen Center for Advanced Computing (RCAC) and Purdue’s Women in High-Performance Computing (WHPC) group recently participated in the inaugural InnovateHer Hackathon, a weekend-long event at Purdue University aimed at fostering inclusivity in the field of technology.

Purdue’s Women in High Performance Computing (WHPC) chapter hosted a workshop exploring the groundbreaking research of Caroline Criado Perez and the topics of her award-winning book, Invisible Women.
