Rice Cluster Maintenance

As of 6:26pm EST, engineers have completed maintenance and have returned the Rice cluster back to normal service. All queues have been enabled and jobs have resumed scheduling. Please report any issues to rcac-help@purdue.edu

Work continues on bringing Rice back to normal operation. We will provide another update by 8:00 pm.

The Rice cluster will be unavailable beginning at Tuesday, November 6th, 2018 at 8:00am EST, for scheduled maintenance. The cluster will return to full production by Tuesday, November 6th, 2018 at 5:00pm.
During this time, Rice will have minor operating system security patches and upgrades applied, as well as some possible work on the scratch storage subsystem.
Any PBS jobs which request a walltime which would take them past Tuesday, November 6th, 2018 at 8:00am EST will not start and will remain in the queue until after the maintenance is completed.
