Senior Research Fullstack Developer

The senior research software engineer will be an integral part of our resaerch software engineering team. This position will continue development on RCAC's HPC management platform, Halcyon as well as designing and developing new software and system solutions to support faculty research, education and outreach needs.

AI Research Scientist

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a rapidly growing area spanning research and learning at Purdue University. As a Research Scientist in AI, you will have the opportunity to impact the advancement of the state-of-the-art AI methods and applications through cyberinfrastructure solutions. You will collaborate with Purdue faculty and students in the innovative domains from foundational to physical AI, such as multi-modal robotics, autonomous mobility, semiconductors, quantum information science, and information security.

Lead AI Facilitator

As a Lead Artificial Intelligence (AI) Facilitator, you will be an integral part of Purdue’s Rosen Center for Advanced Computing (RCAC) team, helping lead RCAC’s research support for AI. You will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the field by contributing to Purdue’s overall AI strategy and helping guide its direction. This position will provide an opportunity to work on a variety of data science and AI projects.

Computational Scientist (Climate Science)

The Computational Scientist role will be an integral part of our researcher-facing team. We are seeking individuals with expertise in computational science and will provide support, mentorship, and training in cyberinfrastructure (CI) best practices to the successful candidate to support research teams at Purdue and nationally. If qualified, the candidate may be considered for a "Senior" level of this role.

Computational Scientist (Fluid and Plasma Research)

The Computational Scientist role will be an integral part of our researcher-facing team. We are seeking individuals with expertise in computational science and will provide support, mentorship, and training in cyberinfrastructure (CI) best practices to the successful candidate to support research teams at Purdue and nationally. If qualified, the candidate may be considered for a "Senior" level of this role.

Senior Computational Scientist

As the Senior Computational Scientist you are an integral part of our research-facing support team. This position will facilitate the use of large-scale research computing systems in research and provide the researchers with computational tools and expertise needed to address questions raised by cutting edge research. You will utilize creativity and innovation to solve computing problems raised by researchers. You will work collaboratively with other staff, ‎campus researchers, national partners and vendors to implement novel computing and data technologies. Diagnose a wide range of computing problems; ‎design, code, test, debug, install, document and maintain complex programs. You will also conduct regular training workshops for researchers on computational tools, and participate in national computing activities by attending workshops, conferences, and potentially presenting research.

Lead Bioinformatics Scientist

As the Lead Bioinformatics Scientist, you will be an integral part of our researcher-facing team, leading the support of Purdue’s bioinformatics initiatives at Rosen Center for Advanced Computing. This position provides several opportunities for research collaborations, leadership, external community engagement, and professional development.

Principal Research Solutions Engineer

The Principal Research Solutions Engineer will serve as a master technical lead for Purdue’s high-performance computing and data portfolio. This position is responsible for developing and implementing Purdue’s medium-term strategic and technical roadmaps for research computing. This position will mentor team members, and work closely with the Director of Integrated Cyberinfrastructure to lead the operation and deployment of large-scale research data intensive computing systems supporting the scientific computing and data analysis needs of Purdue researchers. In this role, they will work with interdisciplinary teams to solve novel and unique challenges in HPC and AI through research and integration of best practices.
