The Scholar cluster will be unavailable beginning at Saturday, January 26th, 2019 at 8:00am, for emergency maintenance. The cluster is expected to return to full production by Saturday, January 26th, 2019 at 11:35am.

During this time, Scholar will have critical security patches made to the operating system.

Any PBS jobs which request a walltime which would take them past Saturday, January 26th, 2019 at 8:00am will not start and will remain in the queue until after the maintenance is completed. Any jobs which are still running at Saturday, January 26th, 2019 at 8:00am will need to be terminated. Unfortunately, due to the critical security nature of the work, these patches cannot be postponed to allow for normal job completion.
