As of 4:00pm, maintenance on the Gilbreth cluster has been completed and the system has been returned to service. During the scheduled maintenance activities, system engineers identified a performance issue with the burst buffer storage system, and will continue to work toward resolving it. Once the issue is corrected, this news article will be updated but no additional email notification will be sent.

The Gilbreth cluster will be unavailable beginning Thursday, July 25th, 2019 at 12:00am EDT, for scheduled maintenance. The cluster will return to full production by Thursday , July 25, 2019 at 5:00pm.

During this time, Gilbreth will have minor operating system security patches and upgrades applied.

Any PBS jobs which request a walltime which would take them past Thursday, July 25th, 2019 at 12:00am EDT will not start and will remain in the queue until after the maintenance is completed.
