Halstead Cluster Maintenance

As of 7:00pm, engineers have completed maintenance and have returned the Halstead cluster back to normal service. All queues have been enabled and jobs have resumed scheduling. Please report any issues to rcac-help@purdue.edu

As of 6:00pm, all maintenance tasks have been completed successfully and work is currently underway to bring Halstead back to normal operations. We will provide another update by 8pm.

The Halstead cluster will be unavailable Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 8:00am EDT for scheduled maintenance. The cluster will return to full production by %enddatetime%.
During this time, Halstead will have the operating system patched and a maintenance upgrade performed on the GPFS scratch filesystem.
Any SLURM jobs which request a walltime which would take them past Wednesday, August 12th, 2020 at 8:00am EDT will not start and will remain in the queue until after the maintenance is completed.
