Weber Cluster Maintenance

As of 6:54pm EDT, engineers have completed maintenance and have returned the Weber cluster back to normal service. All queues have been enabled and jobs have resumed scheduling.

In order to utilize the new Windows image with the latest security and feature updates, please remove the old copy in scratch space (/scratch/weber/$USER/weber-win-$USER.qcow2).

Work continues on bringing Weber back to normal operation. We will provide another update by 8:00 pm.

As a reminder, Weber will undergo scheduled system maintenance on Monday, August 31st, 2020 between 8:00am and 5:00PM EDT. The system will be unavailable during this window.

The Weber cluster will be taken down for regular maintenance and upgrades beginning on Monday, August 31st, 2020 at 8:00am EDT. During this time, Weber will have operating system updates applied.

Users will be unable to log in or use Weber for interactive work during this maintenance. Any SLURM jobs which request a walltime which would take them past Monday, August 31st, 2020 at 8:00am EDT will not start and will remain in the queue until after the maintenance is completed.

The cluster will return to full production by %enddatetime%.
