As of %enddatetime%, Fortress has been returned to normal service. All Globus transfers have resumed. We apologize for the disruption of service. Please report any issues to rcac-help@purdue.edu.

Work continues on Fortress disk cache. Globus transfers to and from Fortress remain paused.

We will provide another update by 5pm today.

Storage engineers continue working on bringing Fortress back to normal operation. Fortress is currently experiencing issues with its disk cache, with both ingestion and staging of data being affected. All Globus transfers to and from Fortress are temporarily paused.

We will provide another update by 10am tomorrow or earlier if we have any new information.

The Fortress tape archive began experiencing issues with Error -1, Error -28, and No space left on device error messages in HSI and Globus around 9:00pm EDT on Tuesday, August 25th, 2020. Engineers are currently diagnosing the issue and are working to identify a fix.

We will provide an update by 5pm.
