Research Computing Coffee Hour Changes
Starting this week, RCAC is implementing a new Coffee Hour schedule to better support users. These consultations are intended to provide users of Research Computing services with an opportunity for informal help and conversation.
Monday through Wednesday each week will feature both online and in-person coffee hour options each day; Thursdays will remain online only. While participants must sign up for online sessions, walk-in appointments are welcome for in-person sessions. In-person coffee hours will be held 2-3 PM at the following locations:
- Mondays: Café area in the Convergence Center
- Tuesdays: West-end PMU ground floor next to the West Terrace
- Wednesdays: Amelia’s Café in Armstrong Hall
To better serve the variety of user requests, Mondays will be focused on data science questions going forward, whereas Tuesdays-Thursdays will continue to be for computing and storage inquiries.
