Unscheduled Gilbreth outage

As of March 19, 2023 1:31pm EDT, problems with Gilbreth job submissions have been fixed and the cluster has been returned to normal service. We apologize for the disruption of service. Please report any issues to rcac-help@purdue.edu.

The Gilbreth cluster began experiencing issues with its scheduler spool filesystem around 10:30pm EDT on Saturday, March 18th, 2023. The problem manifests as an I/O error during new batch job submissions and in Open OnDemand gateway applications. Interactive jobs and jobs already in the queue are not affected.
Engineers are currently diagnosing the issue and are working to identify a fix.
We will provide an update by 10am tomorrow (March 20).
