A free MATLAB training session covering MATLAB tools for importing a wide variety of data types and data visualization is scheduled at Purdue from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, in Peirce Hall, Room 277.

No registration is required. For more information, email rcac-help@purdue.edu.

The presentation by Mehernaz Savai, an application engineer for MathWorks, MATLAB’s parent company, will highlight 10 MATLAB productivity tools, among other things for importing data into MATLAB from a variety of file formats and creating and customizing plots to visualize and understand data. The session also will cover new MATLAB features; analyzing, profiling and debugging MATLAB code to maximize performance; and publishing custom reports to share results.

MathWorks and ITaP Research Computing (RCAC) are sponsoring the workshop.
