Scheduling Paused for Gautschi Cluster

Engineers have completed troubleshooting and Gautschi has returned to service.

Job scheduling on the Gautschi cluster has been temporarily paused while engineers investigate a problem with the scratch storage.What this means for you:

• New jobs will not launch until scheduling resumes. You can still submit jobs, but they will remain queued.
• Jobs that are already running will continue to run to completion.
• You may see errors or slowness when accessing /scratch/gautschi, or long hangs when listing directories. If a running job fails with errors, please resubmit it once scheduling resumes.

Our engineers are working with the storage vendor to resolve the problem, and we will send another update when scheduling resumes.
