Scholar Cluster Maintenance

The Scholar cluster will be unavailable beginning at Thursday, January 5th, 2017 at 8:00am, for scheduled maintenance. The cluster will return to full production by Thursday, January 5th, 2017 at 5:00pm. This work is being done during the semester recess to avoid interruption of services during ongoing coursework.

During this time, Scholar front-end systems will have their Thinlinc desktop services and related OS configuration overhauled to allow for a more flexible user experience.

UPDATE: The Scholar maintenance is now complete. Please note that the new address for launching Thinlinc graphical remote desktops is:

desktop.scholar.rcac.purdue.edu

SSH, Jupyter Hub, and Rstudio remain at their previous destinations at scholar.rcac.purdue.edu.
