Big News

As of Tuesday, 1 July, 2014 we will be expanding the reach of the Coffee Break, and changing the time.

Starting on 1 July, we will be holding the Coffee Break Consultation starting at 1:30 at 3 locations:

Starbucks in the Union LaVazza! in Marriott Hall Amelia's in Armstrong Hall

Lavazza and Amelia's will stop serving at 2:00 (summer hours).

We will have 2 or 3 Research Computing Staff at each location, ready for informal discourse on any topic, especially Purdue's Research Computing resources. Please take a half hour or so and drop by to say hello and find out what we can do for your work.

We will try to stick to this schedule for the remainder of the summer, but please check here frequently or subscribe to the HPC mailing list (hpc-subscribe@lists.purdue.edu) to receive weekly reminders.

Tuesday 12 August, 2014 -- Starbucks in the Union, Amelia's in Armstrong Hall, and Lavazza in Marriott Hall.

Come in and join the conversation any time between 1:30 and 2:30 pm, as we discuss scientific computing at Purdue, as well as any other topic that comes up. No agenda, no formality, just a break in the day that might turn out to be productive.

NOTE: Amelia's stops serving at 2:00 during the summer.; Lavazza stops serving at 2:30.

Meet up with ITaP research computing staff and other researchers who use or are interested in High Performance Computing at Purdue. Join us for informal discussions of scientific computing along with any other topic that might spring up. We'll be meeting at different coffee shops around campus each week. Check back on this web page to see this week's location and time or subscribe to the HPC mailing list (see below) to receive announcements.

We'll be there from 1:30 pm to around 2:30 pm, and we hope to see you there.
