Lead Research Scientist
Dr. Eric Palmer is Lead Research Scientist at the Purdue University Envision Center. His work has included guiding the development and use of virtual and augmented reality simulations to study the ocular system function and cognitive aspects of vision. He has extensive experience working directly with clients and customers to produce computer-driven simulations, videos, and interactive applications for education, training, and scientific research needs. Prior research efforts have focused on shape and scene understanding, depth, and binocular alignment considerations in augmented reality systems.
