Unscheduled Outage in Math Data Center

As of 1:00 pm Friday, 15 September, the Radon cluster has been returned to service and is operating normally.

Hathi has been restored to normal operations. Radon remains down while our vendor investigates an internal networking failure in that cluster following the power loss.

Conte, Halstead, and HalsteadGPU have been returned to normal operations, but work continues on Radon and Hathi.

At approximately 2:00pm EDT on Tuesday, September 5th, 2017, the Math building data center lost some power feeds which supply the Conte, Halstead, HalsteadGPU, Hathi, and Radon clusters. Scheduling on these has been paused until we can be sure power is stable again. It appears only some portions of these systems were affected.
We will update this posting as we know more.
