Data Depot Maintenance
As of 12:15pm on Saturday, April 28, 2018, the Data Depot machines serving Windows, Mac, SMB/Samba and NFS clients have been upgraded and all Data Depot services have been returned to production.
Users who were previously advised to connect to \\datadepot2.rcac.purdue.edu
due to connection issues, are requested to try to reconnect to:
\\datadepot.rcac.purdue.edu\depot
On Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 9:00am - 1:00pm EDT, the Data Depot will be unavailable for Windows, Mac, SMB/Samba and NFS.
During this time, Data Depot will have the SMB/Samba and NFS servers supporting it upgraded. This work should allow for clients using SMB protocol versions 2+ to be better supported by Data Depot.
Access to Data Depot from research clusters or data.rcac.purdue.edu
will be unaffected by this work and continue uninterrupted.
