Research Computing Continues to Offer Remote Consulting and Training
In response to the unprecedented situation we find ourselves in, Research Computing started to provide in-depth consulting service to researchers via video conference or screen sharing in March, 2020.
We are currently offering six 30-minute slots each afternoon from Monday to Thursday for one-on-one and small groups consultations or questions. There are two slots per half hour (2:00-2:30PM, 2:30-3:00PM, 3:00-3:330PM). Please sign up in advance to reserve a slot. Once you do, you will be shown the URL for the online Webex meeting with our staff.
Please refer to the Coffee Hour page for details: https://www.rcac.purdue.edu/coffee . We will consider adding extra time slots if there is more demand.
In addition, we will continue to host our weekly webinars on Webex from 2:00 to 3:30 on Friday afternoon. An invited speaker will be featured at our partner forum on the first Friday of each month. We also provide virtual training events and the topics range from general cluster use to advanced computing/data tools on the second, third and fourth Fridays.
Details for each webinar will be posted to the email list rcac-news@lists.purdue.edu and on our event page (https://www.rcac.purdue.edu/news/events). On the event page, once you click “I’m interested in attending”, the Webex URL will be provided for the event.
Thank you for being patient with us during these challenging times.
Stay healthy and Boiler Up!
