Link to update at January 27, 2021 1:12pm EST UPDATE:

As of 1pm, the fix is in place and cluster access is restored for vast majority of Scholar accounts. A small handful of accounts may still be affected and will be re-enabled overnight.

We apologize for the disruption of service. Please report any issues to rcac-help@purdue.edu.

Link to original posting ORIGINAL:

A large number of Scholar accounts have been accidentally removed during overnight processing. This manifests as "LDAP authorization check failed", or "Incorrect or Invalid username/password" and similar errors when trying to login to the Scholar cluster and its services (Thinlinc, JupyterHub, Rstudio, OpenOnDemand, etc.)

The glitch has been corrected and accounts are propagating back, which can take 2-4 hours.
