Intermittent Access Failures on Data Depot

As of June 18, 2021 10:45am, the problem with missing permissions has been resolved. Data Depot access on community clusters is fully restored.

As of 6:20pm, engineers have put in place a temporary workaround which should mitigate most of the current errors. Work continues with the vendor for the root cause analysis and permanent fix.

As of Thursday, June 17th, 2021 at 11:00am, users of community clusters may experience intermittent "permission denied" errors while trying to access their files on Data Depot. Errors may come and go, and may appear on both login and compute nodes.

System engineers are actively engaged with the vendor to troubleshoot and fix the glitch. We appreciate your patience and will provide another update by 9pm.
