Survey asks Purdue researchers what they want in new computer system

  • Announcements

Purdue researchers are being asked for feedback on the features they need in a new supercomputing cluster planned by Information Technology at Purdue (ITaP) and the Rosen Center for Advanced Computing.

The Rosen Center plans to build the new community cluster, to be named Coates, in the spring of 2009. The project also is an opportunity for departments or individuals purchasing equipment for use outside the cluster to take advantage of price breaks available in a group purchase, said John Campbell, associate vice president for information technology, who heads the Rosen Center.
