Whole-Floor Data Depot Maintenance
Link to update at March 15, 2022 9:12pm EDT UPDATE:
As of 9:11 PM the following services have been restored:
- Mapped network drives of Data Depot spaces (a.k.a. SMB/CIFS)
- NFS exports of Data Depot spaces
- ITaP's Github Enterprise-hosted repositories
At this time maintenance is still ongoing as we work to bring most of the affected services online with an expected completion time of 8:00am tomorrow, March 16th. The schedules for exceptions to this timeline (which notably include community clusters access) can be found in the cross-linked articles below.

The Data Depot filesystem will be undergoing scheduled maintenance and will be unavailable for use from March 15, 2022 5:00pm - March 16, 2022 8:00am EDT for critical software updates which can only be applied during a full service downtime.
During this time users will not be able to use any research computing resources which rely on Data Depot storage which notably include:
- Mapped network drives of Data Depot spaces (a.k.a. SMB/CIFS)
- RCAC community clusters (more details and extended timeline here: Whole-Floor Cluster Maintenance)
- Globus access and shares based on the Data Depot endpoint
- NFS access to Data Depot spaces
- RCAC-hosted customer VMs and servers
- ITaP's Github Enterprise-hosted repositories (more details and specific timeline here: github.itap Offline for Scheduled Whole-Floor Maintenance)
To minimize disruption for the Data Depot users, the work will be completed in the off-hours (March 15, 2022 5:00pm - March 16, 2022 8:00am EDT). We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
