Software installation 101
A high-level introduction to how software applications and libraries are installed and function on a Linux system; and specifically with regard to HPC clusters where users do not have administrative privileges.
The workshop will start with a short explanation of important concepts and then finish with a series of progressively more advanced scenarios with the RCAC-recommended setup.
Prerequisites: RCAC-basics (Clusters 101 equivalent experience)
