Carter has been return to normal operations. All queues have been enabled.

Update: December 2, 2015 12:15pm

Carter is mostly ready to return to service, but the site-wide home filesystem has suffered a failure which is preventing this from being completed (Unscheduled Home Filesystem Outage). We will update this as soon as that failure is resolved.

Update: December 2, 2015 9:51am

The major work on the scratch filesystem has concluded, and we are in the process of returning the cluster to full service. We expect Carter to be back in normal operations by noon or earlier, and will update this post as soon as it is.

Our vendor's engineers are going to work through the night to try to resolve some of the remaining issues with the scratch filesystem for Carter. We will post an update on that work by at least 10:00am Wednesday.

Update: December 1, 2015 8:59pm

The work being done to improve the scratch filesystem for Carter is still in progress into the night. We will post an update by midnight tonight, or earlier as this work is completed.
