Unscheduled scratch outage on Hammer
The Hammer scratch filesystem has now returned to normal operations.

During the maintenance of the Rice and Snyder clusters this week, it became necessary to shut down the scratch filesystem which these clusters currently share with the Hammer cluster. While the Hammer cluster itself is and will remain operational, the scratch directories for Hammer will be offline until Friday, when that filesystem's Infiniband networking has been fully rewired. If the lack of high-performance scratch storage will cause problems for your research, please let us know, and we will try to accommodate your work elsewhere in the interim.
