Unscheduled Outage on Data Depot

As of 5:30 pm. Friday, 5 August, 2016, we believe the problem affecting access to the Data Depot has been corrected.
Thank you for your patience, and I apologize for the disruption this caused.
Access to the Data Depot is currently sporadic due to problems with some of the back-end disk servers within the file system.
These problems affect access both through the Research Computing Clusters and through Windows shares to external PCs and Macs.
System engineers are working on a fix, and we will have further information no later than 6:00 pm today (Friday 5 August, 2016).
