Important changes to Anvil login procedures
XSEDE program operations are coming to an end on August 31, 2022, and transitioning to the new ACCESS program. Anvil will continue to be a resource provider (RP) under ACCESS, however there are some significant changes planned across allocation and other services.
One of the time-sensitive changes is that the XSEDE Single Sign On (SSO) hub will be retired on Aug 31, 2022. In preparation for this, we would like all our users to set up SSH keys for direct SSH access to Anvil without going through the SSO hub. Please refer to the instructions on how to set up SSH keys.
We appreciate your timely attention to this since your access to Anvil may be affected beyond August 31, 2022, if SSH keys are not set up before then. We will have more information on other access methods such as Open OnDemand and ThinLinc as we learn more about the ACCESS transition.
