Mihir Ahlawat is a Purdue University alumnus with a master's degree in Statistics and Computer Science. He focuses on building Generative AI solutions using Purdue's high-performance computing systems, with the goal of making AI more accessible to the university community. Mihir works closely with researchers across disciplines, offers training in AI and data science, and helps users effectively tap into Purdue's advanced computing resources.

Haniye Kashgarani a Senior AI Scientist in RCAC. My background is in CS, and she specializes in high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, algorithm selection and combinatorial optimization. Prior to joing to RCAC team, her research area was in fields of machine learning, algorithm selection, and combinatorial optimization. Her goal is to strengthen the RCAC AI ecosystem by improving documentation and datasets so teams can use advanced computing resources more effectively.

Nannan is part of the user support and application team to facilitate the usage of computation and storage resources at RCAC. Patrick Finnegan
Lead Systems Engineer
Patrick Finnegan's project
Patrick has worked with RCAC since before finishing his undergraduate degree at Purdue. He worked to build the first centralized Linux Clusters out of reused desktop PCs, moving to administrate systems with AIX, Solaris, Debian, and Redhat Linux. Patrick has spent a lot of time researching alternative and novel architectures for computing, from ARM to POWER, FPGAs, Xeon Phi, and even IBM Z. With extensive expertise in comparative genomics, genome assembly, annotation, single-cell genomics, NGS data analysis, metagenomics, proteomics, and metabolomics. Arun supports a diverse range of bioinformatics projects across various organisms, including human model systems.
