For all long-term data storage, RCAC recommends use of the Fortress Archive system and compression/zip tools which are available below.

HSI and HTAR

Direct access to the Fortress Archive (HPSS) from your personal computer is only possible by using specialized client software available below.

Compression / Zip Tools

There are many packages available for zip / compression of groups of files, but here are a few RCAC recommends.
