Windows Network Drive (SMB or CIFS)

You may use built-in Windows network drive support from Windows, Mac, or Linux systems to access Purdue IT research storage. Please consult the user guides for more details.

SCP / SFTP

SCP and SFTP are another way of accessing most research storage.

  Free, full-featured, graphical Windows SSH, SCP, and SFTP client.

  License: Free for typical SSH and SFTP use patterns. Professional version also available

• MacSFTP
  Free, graphical SCP and SFTP client for Mac OS X.

  License: Free / No License Required
